The Kootenay International Junior Hockey League completed its fifth week of action for the 2023-24 regular season. The KIJHL Power Rankings highlights the top-five teams based on winning percentage and their performance over the past 10 games.

The Eagles split their weekend games starting with a 4-3 win over the 100 Mile House Wranglers. Hayden Evans scored the eventual winner with his 10th goal to give the Eagles a 4-0 lead. He had two goals and an assist. The Eagles lost their next game 3-0 to the Kamloops Storm to snap a nine-game winning streak. Gabe Bergeron made 34 saves.
Beaver Valley Nitehawks
Last Week: 1
The Nitehawks had their undefeated start, at 8-0, end in a 2-1 loss to the Castlegar Rebels. Kaleb Percival scored their lone goal, while Landin Uzeloc made 26 saves. The Nitehawks started the weekend with an 8-0 win over the Spokane Braves. Cade Reber scored the winner with his second goal and Connor Stojan earned a 30-save shutout.
Last Week: 4
The Posse won both their weekend games starting with a 6-2 win at home against Nelson. Anmol Garcha scored the winner with his fifth goal, while Tyson Horiachka had a goal and three assists. The Posse then picked up a 4-3 shootout win against the North Okanagan Knights. Garcha scored the shootout winner and Gabe Osmond made 21 saves and turned aside two of three shots in the shootout.

The Dynamiters blanked the Creston Valley Thunder Cats 2-0 in their lone game over the weekend. Tristan Weill scored the winner with his ninth goal, while Matt Fleet made 26 saves to earn his first shutout. Fleet has three career shutouts.

The Storm won both their weekend games defeating the Fernie Ghostriders 6-2, then shutting out the Eagles 3-0. Against the Ghostriders, Lochlan Stefanishyn scored the winner with his fourth goal. He had two goals in the game. Against the Eagles, Evan Clark scored the winner with his fourth and Colton Phillips-Watts earned the shutout with a 21-save performance.
