NEWS – Drake, Simm and Caputo Named To KIJHL Top Prospects Game

Fruitvale, BC (November 9th, 2023) – The Beaver Valley Nitehawks are thrilled to share the news that three Nitehawks have been named to the KIJHL team for this year’s BCHC Top Prospect Game in Kamloops.

The Nitehawks will send two forward and one defenceman to Kamloops in just a few weeks time for the Top Prospects game. The KIJHL team will face off in a friendly game against the top prospects of the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) on Tuesday, November 28th. Named to the team is Connor Drake, Nathan Simm and Will Caputo!

Drake, the youngest member of the Nitehawks roster as a 2007 born forward, has nine points in nine games, with four goals and five assists.

 

Simm is tied for third in goals in the Hawks through 12 games. The ‘06 born forward has six goals and four assists to start his rookie campaign.

 

Caputo has been a wonderful addition to the Nitehawks blueline this season. Also a ‘06 born player, Caputo has two assists to his name to start the season through nine games, but his play and contributions go far beyond the points.

The Nitehawks are back in action this Friday in Grand Forks for the first meeting of the year against the Border Bruins.
