Crowe, Percival & Glenn named KIJHL 3 Stars

 

Roan Crowe and Kaleb Percival (Beaver Valley Nitehawks) along with Nate Glenn (Columbia Valley Rockies) have been selected as the Hudl Instat Kootenay International Junior Hockey League 3 Stars of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 15.

Crowe – Top Forward – The Claresholm, Alberta product helped the Nitehawks win their four road games last week by scoring four goals and adding three assists in four games. In a 6-4 win over the Castlegar Rebels, Crowe had a goal and two assists. His goal tied the game at 3-3. Crowe scored the game-winner in a 5-3 victory over the Kelowna Chiefs. He also netted the winner in the Nitehawks’ 7-0 win over the North Okanagan Knights. In their 11-0 win over Summerland, Crowe collected an assist. In six games, Crowe has four goals and five assists for nine points.

Percival – Top Defenceman – The Nelson native helped the Nitehawks win their four road games last week by scoring a goal and adding five assists in four games. In their 6-4 win over the Rebels, Percival had three assists. In their 5-3 win against the Chiefs, Percival had a goal and an assist. And in their 7-0 win against the Knights, Percival assisted on Crowe’s goal to give them a 4-0 lead. In seven games, the Nitehawks captain has three goals and seven assists.

Glenn – Top Goalie – The Cary, North Carolina product helped the Rockies win both their games last weekend. Against Kimberley, Glenn had a 41-save shutout in a 3-0 win. In a 2-1 win against Creston Valley, Glenn stopped 31 of 32 shots. In the two games combined, Glenn finished with 72 saves for a .986 save percentage and a 0.50 goals against average. For the season, Glenn  is 5-1-0 with a 1.56 GAA and a .955 SP.
